Hausman LLC president, Tami Hausman, led an interactive workshop, “Putting Your Message Where the Media Is” at the SMPS Heartland Regional Conference held in Pittsburgh April 5 through April 7. Over 50 SMPS members attended the exercise-driven workshop, where they learned how to develop targeted messages, write engaging press releases, and pitch creative story ideas to the press.

Happy Valentine’s Day from Team Hausman!

We’re inspired to see so many of you share our obsession with the most expressive of the arts.
This month, Hausman celebrates nine years in business. From our modest beginnings in an East Village apartment to our current Tribeca office, it’s been a fantastic journey. Collaborating with creative, smart people—our staff, journalists, designers, and communications pros—is its own reward. We’d like to thank all our clients for giving us the opportunity to achieve not only their goals, but ours, as well.
New York City urban myth… Second Avenue Subway has now become a reality. The elusive train line was first proposed in 1920. Almost 100 years later, the first phase is complete and open to the public! Engineering and design firms Arup and AECOM were tasked with job to make the 17-stop-line, cleaner, brighter, quieter, and more inviting than the other existing subway lines in New York City. Earlier this month we were tickled pink to see that our very favorite hue, Hausman green, was named 2017 Color of the Year by the venerable Pantone Color Institute. The Institute, a global color authority and provider of professional color standards for the design industries, has dubbed the shade “Greenery.”
Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director of the Pantone Color Institute, said, “While Serenity and Rose Quartz (the 2016 colors of the year) expressed the need for harmony in a chaotic world, Greenery bursts forth in 2017 to provide us with the hope we collectively yearn for amid a complex social and political landscape. Satisfying our growing desire to rejuvenate, revitalize, and unite, Greenery symbolizes the reconnection we seek with nature, one another, and a larger purpose.”
